The 25-year-old Pennsylvania Parking Association (founded in 1985), having matured as an association, continues to actively recruit members both in and out of the Commonwealth who either work in, service or otherwise have an interest

in the parking industry in

Pennsylvania. The Association is considered one of the strongest andmost active state asso- ciations, hosting an annual conference, golf outings, awards competitions, a meeting at each IPI conference, and most recently a Spring Training event with golf outing.

The association hosts its annual conference and golf outing each Septemberwith an 18-hole golf tourney on the first day followed by exhibits, parking design/management awards ceremony, workshops, and seminars of the next day and a half. In addition, the PPAhosts a breakfastmeet- ing at the IPI’s annual conference.

As the Association continues to grow, it takes on new challenges and works with the diverse agencies of the Commonwealth on a variety of topics that affect the parking industry.
