aboard an R6. The St-Colomban, QC racer made a particularly good impression by fin- ishing ninth. Top female racer Marie-Josee Boucher continues to persevere with her Honda CBR600RR program – an injury at Mosport cut short her 2010 season but the Montreal racer is back to full health.

A couple of racers entering their second Pro seasons are Sean Huffman of Kemptville, ON and Sherbrooke’s Se- bastien Tremblay. Huffman was a regular Amateur national frontrunner and is aboard a Suzuki GSX-R1000 this season. Tremblay finished second in the 2009 Amateur Sport

Bike standings but saw his rookie Pro sea- son dented by injury last year. He raced at ICAR aboard a Honda CBR1000RR and placed 10th.

The betting is that the 2011 Canadian Su- perbike Championship by Parts Canada title will be settled between Szoke and Mc- Cormick, but beyond that nothing is clear. And with six rounds still remaining in the season there are still plenty of surprises that could be thrown up in the next couple of months. How things shape up when the 2011 season wraps up with its Mosport doubleheader in August could prove more interesting than anyone can imagine.
