Executive Profile: Nicole McMackin


N


icole McMackin has been with the Irvine Technology Corporation


(ITC) over seven years, initially serving as Vice President of Sales. In this role, she oversaw the Profit and Loss Statement, Recruitment and Sales Staff. In addition, she implemented day to day leadership and management of supporting depart- ments. Under Nicole’s strong leadership, ITC opened eight new offices on a nation- al level. She cultivated high quality rela- tionships with clients by providing quali- ty, cost effective contract staff and in house solutions to support the end client. She is also credited with the establishment and development of a strategic sales and delivery plan that increased revenue and net profits by 92%. After working with the company for


four years, Nicole was promoted to Man- aging Partner. She is now responsible for overall management and operations of providing customized business solutions to both internal and external clients. Fur- thermore, she oversees all internal opera- tions, brand strategy/ development, strate- gic planning and implementation, negotiates all new contracts and oversee all hiring of sales and recruitment staff to include ITC’s India Operations. Nicole currently holds total P&L responsibility in the United States and abroad. Nicole McMackin has an established


career in sales and management with a strong emphasis of account management within Fortune 300 organizations. She is a dedicated information technology staffing professional with key strengths to include; managing and producing revenue, strate-

gic planning, leadership, interpersonal re- lationships, team building, organizational development and analytical and creative problem solving among other qualities needed to succeed in information technol- ogy. Her extensive experience and full life cycle knowledge in information technol- ogy, engineering and corporate solutions sales and management have set her above others in her field. She began her career in staff augmen-


tation services with a locally based Or- ange County company, Abbott Resource Group, where she was quickly recognized as one of the top performers in the com- pany for both her strong leadership skills as well as her unprecedented sales figures. In fact, she was the top sales executive for the last three years of her employment at Abbot Resource Group. Nicole later tran- sitioned to Advecta IT whereby she sold and managed multiple premier accounts as well as led a large team of account managers and recruiters. At Advecta, she achieved quarterly the highest producer award exceeding 8M in gross new client sales, and she consistently achieved most new clients on a monthly basis. Nicole McMackin is an active member


of the Orange County community, serving on a number of boards and participating in various events through out the County. She is a part of several executive


groups and advisory boards including the University of California, Irvine Executive Committee and Children’s Hospital of Or- ange County (CHOC). Nicole’s involve- ment with CHOC stems from personal experience. After finding a bump on her

3-year-old daughter’s head, she took her daughter to CHOC where doctors found a huge cyst in her brain. The cyst removal surgery was a difficult, but the doctors at CHOC were able to successfully perform it, effectively saving her daughter’s life. Following this experience, Nicole has been passionate about giving back to the hospital and has become very active in fundraising for CHOC. In September of 2009, she helped coordinate and was one of the three co-chairs of “Live, Love, Give”, a major fundraiser for the chil- dren’s hospital. She was also involved in several other fundraisers, helping raise millions of dollars for the construction of the hospital’s new tower. Nicole is involved in a number of edu-


cation issues as well. She is a member of the Orange County Department of Educa- tion, National History Day – California Executive Council which comprises a dy- namic group of California business lead- ers dedicated to furthering the program’s long-term mission of exploring history. Nicole was chosen for the position based on her leadership role as well as her over- all experience and reputation. Nicole also sits on the Board of Director’s at her chil- dren’s school, St. Mary’s, oversees the long term strategic planning of the school ensuring that the vision and core values of the school are aligned. Nicole is also an active member of the Association of Women in Technology, a non-profit organization dedicated to em- powering women in all fields of technol- ogy.
