or some time now we have been working in partnership with the Money Advice Service to help Service personnel with
money issues.
The Money Advice Service is an independent advice organisation so there is no selling, just clear, unbiased money advice to help make the most of your money in these challenging times. Their new website has lots of free information, calculators, tools and resources. Face-to-face advice and presentations are also available.
The Parents Guide to Money A guide for expectant and new parents, covering everything from childcare costs to saving and entitlements. Staying in control of one’s finances can be a challenge at the best of times, and bringing up a family can make this especially difficult.
The Redundancy Handbook This in-depth guide is for those at risk of job loss or going through redundancy. The Handbook covers issues including
Divorce and Separation These pages provides straightforward information to help anyone going through a divorce, or thinking about splitting up, get to grips with their money situation. There is help on understanding the steps involved, working out the finances, information on child maintenance and state entitlements. There are also calculators and links to support agencies where one can find further help.
The Retirement Guide
This in-depth guide helps people manage the transition from work to retirement and make sound decisions to improve their financial security throughout retirement.
Money Advice Line This is a free and unbiased money advice telephone service available by calling 0300 500 5000.

Coming soon – The new on-line financial health check asks some straightforward questions and give you a personal action plan to help you with your money must- do’s and longer-term goals. It will help you proactively manage your money and review your financial affairs on a regular basis. It will also provide users with a quick, high level assessment of their financial priorities and highlight where you can take action and build healthy financial habits to meet short- term goals and long term needs.
