Deer’n’Dexter ceased their Soil Association license last au- tumn. The deer were reared organically, while the Dexter catt- le were not. Jane and Peter had both organic and non- organic land, and needed to be able to be more flexible with its use, plus the price of organic feed was really hitting them. Issue 10 • May-June 2011
