BLACK Rocks restaurant & bar has been very well received in its first weeks of opening. Situated in the lower part of the High Street, Maidstone, it is owned by Margaret Preedy, who also owns the very successful dance studios and party venue Rianos on Tonbridge Road, Maidstone. The restaurant offers a different style of dining, where steaks, chicken and fish are all served on a very hot granite rock. Cut bite-size pieces off the meat, add seasoning if required to enhance the flavour and control the cooking to your liking. Add a bowl of salad from the fresh salad bar to complement your meal. Starters, sides and desserts are also available. Margaret says she is very excited about her forthcoming Australian promotion, where she has got together with her suppliers to offer Fosters at the amazing price of £2 a pint, Hardy's Chardonnay at £10 a bottle. Kangaroo steaks, from their butchers, will be served with fries and

garnish for just £13.99. Make the most of this very special promotion! Now open, Red Rocks, the large function room upstairs of the restaurant, will be available for private hire most days and evenings. Please contact us for details. Email: info@redrocksmaidstone.co.uk. “At Black Rocks we aim to always offer something new and exciting, and with the River Festival coming soon, Black Rocks will be joining in the celebrations by offering a Hog Roast for the day, and much more.”
