I grew up in Tallaght and went to school in Terenure. It was a lot of fun, I was an only child, so it could be very lonely sometimes but it made me more outgoing as a result. I was a real little organiser, and was oſten envious of my friends with siblings. I got a lot of social skills from being an only child, as I spent time around adults.

the musical directorship of Kevin Haugh, where we performed Oklahoma from the National Concert Hall. I have always been a fan and still am a fan of musicals. I went on to join the Bank of Ireland RTE proms choir.
My mother says I was singing and performing before I could walk. I think I was probably about 7 or 8 when I started writing songs and poems. I used to use the sweeping brush as a microphone and stand, my mam’s tennis racquet as my guitar and my dad’s tie as a guitar strap.
Things have moved on a bit, but it has to be said that it has been very exciting and hard work, but also great fun. I’ve met a lot of interesting characters and had lots of late nights and early mornings! There have been some disappointments and
