West Devon Citizens Advice Bureau is changing the look of their regular outreach sessions at Bere Alston surgery. Members of the public can now drop in for advice, without an appointment, between the hours of 1pm and 3pm every third Wednesday of the month.
Mandy Kenyon Development Officer says “we hope that by introducing these drop in sessions we will be able to help as many people as possi- ble. We understand the restrictions and complica- tions of living rurally and with help from the Big Lottery Fund we are able to bring our service to rural communities such as Bere Alston”.
The first drop in session will be on 18th May from 1pm - 3pm at Bere Alston Surgery where a West Devon CAB adviser will be able to offer help and
advice on a wide range of subjects.
West Devon CAB also provide regular outreach sessions at Princetown and Hatherleigh and have home visiting officers who will visit people who may be housebound for various reasons, includ- ing illness, caring responsibilities or transport is- sues.
