It’s time to start compiling your entry for this year’s Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards (TVBMA)
Now in its 17th year, TVBMA is the premier multi-category awards competition in the region. Categories this year are:
• Thames Valley Export Award – sponsored by DediPower • SME of the Year Award – sponsored by James Cowper • Best Company to Work For – sponsored by Vail Williams • Business Management Team Award - sponsored by RBS • Dynamic Business Award – sponsored by Deloitte • and Business of the Year Award – sponsored by Pitmans
Last year’s winners included The Chemistry Group, Hansford Sensors, GCS Recruitment Specialists, Sophos plc, and Ella’s Kitchen.
Business of the Year winner was Reading-based GCS. Managing director and founder Chris Bartlett said he was “absolutely thrilled” to win the award and has described the whole process of competing in the awards scheme as being a boost for the company, its management and its staff.
Entries are open now until the end of September 2011. Entry is free. Judges meet in September to draw up a shortlist and up to six companies are chosen per category as awards finalists.
Winners are announced at the awards gala evening itself, which will be held at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading, on Thursday November 17.
