Thames Valley Strategic Law Group launch

March saw the launch event of the Thames Valley Strategic Law Group with a dinner held at Stoke Park in Stoke Poges.

The event was organised by Harwood Hutton in partnership with NatWest in order to build contacts, to network and raise awareness of business and strategic issues key to the legal profession.

At the Group’s meetings a guest speaker will cover current strategic topics and business issues of interest to lawyers and barristers; and at the launch, the Rt Hon Dominic Grieve QC MP, member of parliament for Beaconsfield, and attorney

general, gave an overview of the criminal justice system and the government’s proposals. The evening was held under the Chatham House Rule.

Future events include:

June 23 – Alternative Business Structures, breakfast briefing by Legal Mentors.

November 17 – Corporate best practice for partnerships, breakfast briefing by Harwood Hutton.
