also present in Canada, and we want to broaden our own understanding, educate others and challenge the sources of limitation inherent in these social structures. We will be incorporating our experiences in Jamaica and the awareness we gained into a documentary that will be screened at the Manifesto Toronto Festival in September 2011.

Sitembile Vela, Kymberlee Joubert, and Rashid Sobers are all members of the Vibrant Voices program at St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club in Toronto, Canada. St. Alban’s is a community service organization that provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.
