Finally, we have an ‘unknown’ area containing things about us that neither we, nor others, are aware of or able to discern. In an effective consultation, community members


will be encouraged to reveal some ‘hidden’ things about themselves; through conversation and dialogue they may also be exposed to some of their own blind areas, and they may even discover, together with the person doing the interview, things that were previously part of their ‘unknown’ area.
