Hannoush Jewelers has been more to ove


the Capital District’s premier source of diamonds and diamond jewelry for over 27 years…and it all started with a dream. Elias Hannoush, a bench jeweler and jewelry maker, has been crafting jewelry since the age of 13 when he left school to help support his parents and 7 younger brothers. Elias and his family arrived in the United States when he was 19 years old. After trying his hand in several different industries, Elias re-established himself as a master jeweler with a national jewelry chain and quickly gained greater ambitions. Elias ventured out on his own in 1984 and opened his first store in Crossgates Mall and is still one of a handful of the mall’s original tenants. Elias’ hard work and his dedication to his customer and his craft would soon earn him the trust and confidence of innumerable Capital District families and lead to the opening of several other area locations. Elias’ oldest son, Albert,

could be seen at the Crossgates location when he was only 10 years old. Barely tall enough to see over the showcases, he was already learning to welcome each customer that walked into their store. At the age of 20, Albert became one of the area’s only GIA Graduate Gemologists and was committed to improving upon


the foundation that his father had established by expanding the variety of jewelry that Hannoush Jewelers creates and sells and by becoming the Capital District’s first choice for diamonds and diamond jewelry. Today, Hannoush Jewelers


has three area locations –Crossgates Mall, Colonie Center and the Village Plaza in Clifton Park – and, continues to grow its inventory and is happy to assist customers throughout the Capital District, around the state and across the country. In 2002, Elias and Albert were joined by David Hannoush who, after earning a law degree and working in Washington DC, decided to rejoin his father and brother and has helped to grow the business and its ambitions. Hannoush Jewelers is now one of the area’s largest Pandora jewelry dealers and continues boast the largest inventory of loose and certified diamonds. Albert and David have strategically selected the location of their newest store on Wolf Road in Colonie and expect that to be a very special shopping experience for all new and existing Hannoush patrons. This store is expected to open in the spring of 2012.
