HEAL YOURSELF – HEAL THE WORLD By Marina Phillips {WolfWillow}
There are a lot of people running around very confused and scared right now, and not just in Japan. My heart goes out to those people, and I know that everyone who can physically help in that part of the world are doing all they can.
Those of us who are at a distance may feel helpless to do anything besides donating money, and comforting those of our Asian friends who have family struggling over there. However, there is a lot to be said for intentional thoughts, prayers, spells, and any other activity that directs positive energy toward Japan, lifting all those who are suffering up into an energetic vibration of healing and recovery.
Marianne Williamson said it best in her book, ‘Illuminata ~ A Return to Prayer’: There is no world outside us. The world is, in fact, our collective
projections of love and fear, hopes and conflicts. In taking responsibility for our own thoughts and feelings, we play our part in the healing of the world. The world is in a critical phase because we are. The world is in
massive shift because we are. The world still has a chance for survival, both in spite of us and because of us. Our prayers for the world are our greatest contribution to its
healing and rebirth.
To help those in need throughout the world, we first need to heal ourselves - not in any way that generally comes to mind, but in a way that is deeply sustaining, and that brings truth to our daily lives in a new way. The healing we need is one of perspective.
We must realize that we are not as small and ineffectual as we have been taught to believe. We are not puny, we are not evil, we are not hopeless, and we certainly are NOT unintelligent! We have the capacity to understand the magnitude of the disasters now taking place on our planet, and we have the capacity to fathom the vastness of our existence. We have the ability to remove the veil of ignorance and see ourselves as we truly are.
We are loving, expansive, magical geniuses! The nature of our existence has its roots in a kind of creation that makes us powerful! We can heal the world – people, the earth, the waters - if we can but heal our own perception of ourselves. We can do it if we truly believe in our intentional thoughts; fully expect a change when we work our spell or ritual, and be totally certain of the transformative power our prayers carry to affect change in the hurting world we see. Be confident in your intention, and in your absolute power to create the world you wish to see!
“… Prayer power is real. By putting it into action, we will be able to stay more constantly in higher awareness than ever before. If we can do that, the world will quickly change …”
James Redfield (‘The Twelfth Insight: The Hour of Decision’)
