Robert (Bob) Phillips serves as senior vice president and chief customer officer for The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club. Phillips collaborates with all brand disciplines to deliver The Ritz-Carlton’s legendary service to the nearly 3,000 Members of The Club. With an extensive directorial background for many vacation clubs, Phillips brings over twenty years of business experience and sixteen years of club leadership to The Ritz- Carlton Destination Club. Phillips has directed, marketed, and developed the Marriott Vacation Club International, the Disney Vacation Club, and now The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club. A Philadelphia native, Phillips received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from Drexel University. Phillips currently resides in Orlando, Fla. with his wife Maureen and their sons Grant (16), Clay (14) and Jack (10).


PETER J. WATZKA


Peter J. Watzka serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer, The Ritz-Carlton Development Company, Inc. (an affiliate of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C.). Appointed in 2007, he is responsible for the overall business performance of The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, a luxury travel option secured by an interest in real estate. Watzka brings 38 years of resort real estate, management, and sales and service, vaulting the Boise Cascade Corporation, the Byrne Corporation, Performance Marketing Group, and the Mariott Vacation Club International to multiple business successes. Born in Kingston, N.Y., Watzka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Cornell University in 1971. He now resides in Orlando, Fla. with his wife Penny, and they have four children: Justin (27), Kirby (26), Kylie (24), and Garrett (21).
