The next seminar Empower Dinner “New Lung” Smoking Cessation Series will be presented by the Orange County chapter of the National Counsel on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence and sponsored by A-Med Pharmacy. LOVING REPEATING


TO BENEFIT THE CENTER LONG BEACH The International City Theater (ICT) is hosting a benefit for The Center Long Beach on Saturday, February 5, as it presents the West Coast premiere of the chamber musical Loving Repeating by Tony Award-winners Stephen Flaherty and Frank Galati, adapted from the writings of Gertrude Stein. A musical about loving life, loving thinking, lov- ing art and loving love, Stein’s Loving Repeating explores a capricious love affair with language, self-expression and her lifelong companion, Alice B. Toklas. The benefit will feature a post-show question and answer segment with the cast and members of the artistic staff—moderated by The Rage Monthly’s very own Tony Reverditto. The Center Long Beach benefit show takes place at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center, lo- cated at 300 E.
