The late 1980’s saw the demise of other leading leisure equipment manufacturers and Robert didn’t want to be a casualty of this too and so through top level management and expert financial planning the company slowly but surely extended their customer base. This then gave them the encouragement and a solid platform for their future and planned expansion. A conscious decision made in 1990 by the directors of Everlux Electronics to expand their operation and use the experience and knowledge they had gained in both the manufacturing and operating fields this in turn enabled them to commence marketing more technically advanced equipment, thus meeting the demands of the l990’s modern operators. Their success grew and soon they moved into larger premises which also called for larger workforce. They didn’t just take any Tom, Dick or Harry on, they employed staff of the necessary calibre enabling them to achieve and maintain the highest standards, which were both expected and required by Everlux. Due to such success and large order books, this meant that their current premises again grew too small for them, and 1993 saw them once again relocate, but this time they purchased a larger purpose built factory unit to suit their requirements. This move enabled the company to continue it’s planned growth for the future, but it didn’t detract from the high quality of workmanship and reliability of their equipment, which operators in the

marketplace expected and demanded, and rightly so too. Everlux successfully completed many large refurbishment programmes using the latest market technology that was currently available for mechanised cash bingo systems with the excess of 600 player positions. Their systems embodied for player participation ranged from the in-table Auto Card to loose shutter boards with the then choice of current number 7 credit-Segment display, filament valid displays, claim buttons, dedicated sound, card illumination of which was the clients choice with colour co-ordinated laminates for a total custom built package. They also offered other custom built equipment including stage display equipment which was built to the clients’ individual requirements. Using hi- brightness LED’s in either red or green with the choice of control equipment which ranged from a full policy system which automatically calculated prize money and book sales to a compact desk mounted editing console with liquid crystal operators display. Having gained experience in the export market they became the first company to manufacture purpose built main stage equipment for Czechoslovakia, this multi site contract was carried out on behalf of Top Ten Bingo Clubs who arranged the site training and liaison with the government bodies. Everlux carried out on site training of local engineers and applied both technical back-up and assistance throughout the contract. Numerous other large European installations followed the Czechoslovakia one, thus opening further doors for them in what was then the new open market. The year 2006 saw Everlux evolve further and included the installation and deployment of wireless (WiFi) based bingo, with this highly advanced mobile technology taking the bingo industry by storm and has been on of the biggest, if not the
