Newberg President Ian Newberg has been promoted


to President of Parkeon Inc., a leading provider of integrated on-street park- ing systems. In his former role as National


Sales Director, Newberg oversaw and restructured its Business Development team in order to increase sales of mul- ti-space parking systems. Since he took over, Parkeon has posted a rev- enue increase of approximately 80%. Additionally, Newberg previously


was involved in the largest parking smart-card program in the United States, the New York City Parking Card, and has been facilitating the introduction of contactless smart cards for use in on-street solar-run multi- space pay stations. Newberg joined Parkeon in 2006


after more than a decade with Cubic Transportation Systems, where he was in charge of its Eastern U.S. Regional office and was responsible for the implementation of several transit sys- tem initiatives, including inWashing- ton andAtlanta.
