THE LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS The Los Angeles Clippers, Equality California and Outsports.com will present


Equality Night With The Clippers, the first-ever LGBT-themed night at Staples Center on Wednesday, February 2 as the Clippers take on the Chicago Bulls. The Clippers are one of the first teams in the NBA to host an Equality Night. LGBT- themed events have been a part of Major League Baseball for the last decade. “The fight for equality in California is an important one, and we are thrilled that the Clippers recognize the LGBT community as an equal and important part of their fan base,” said Mike Holtz of Equality California. Tickets for the event are $20 and $40 and are available clippers.com/equality. A portion of the proceeds of each ticket go to Equality California. Everyone attending Equality Night with the Clippers will receive a t-shirt specially branded by the Clippers for the event.


ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER The Family Equality Council Awards Dinner will bring together LGBT parents, friends and allies to celebrate the progress we have made as a community of loving families towards full equality. In 2011, the Awards Dinner will feature a cocktail reception, a full-course seated dinner, live entertainment and the opportunity to mingle with old friends and meet new ones. The event will honor Dan Savage and Terry Miller found- ers of the It Gets Better Project, Kris Perry & Sandy Stier and Paul Katami & Jeff Zarrillo, the plaintiffs from the Perry v. Schwarzenegger trial, and Luke Macfarlane who plays “Scotty” on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters. The Family Equality Council Annual Awards Dinner will be held at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, located at 8430 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, on Saturday, January 29, starting at 7:00 p.m. For more informa- tion about tickets or sponsorship, e-mail info@familyequality.org.

LGB2NETWORK JANUARY MIXER AT MOLAA Join the LGB2Network as it holds the first mixer of the New Year at the Museum of Latin American Art


(MOLAA ) on Thursday, January 20, and meet and greet other young professionals in Long Beach. LGB2Network is both a hip, urban way to refer to Long Beach (its airport code) as well as reflecting the group’s makeup. The network members are LGBT up-and-coming and affluent professionals ages 30 and older interested in social- izing and networking outside of the gay bar scene. All gay and gay-friendly professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs, art lovers and collectors, food critics, and press media are welcome to join. LGB2Network mixers are always free admission.
