Promotes Mind-Body Approaches to Health and Physical Education T
he Graduate Institute of Bethany, CT recently launched "Frontiers of Learning" - an initiative focused on the improvement of learning and thinking in our educational system. The program creates opportunities for like-minded educators to come together and explore creative ideas and practical proofs (i.e., research) that enhance living, learning, and teaching in schools. This November, approximately twenty new colleagues came together in the "Arts Cohort" of the Master of Arts in Holistic
Thinking to earn their degree while simultaneously advocating a place for the arts in our educational system and culture. This spring, The Graduate Institute will offer a new cohort in "Frontiers of Learning" especially for Physical Education and
Health teachers. The project is dedicated to enhancing the contributions made by health and PE educators in our educational system. Participants work collaboratively to develop advocacy tools while earning their Masters degree in Experiential Health and Healing. Focusing on the integration of body, mind, and spirit, members of this cohort will share their energy and insights through engaging hands-on experiences.
For more information, contact Admissions at (203) 874-4252 or attend an Open House at the Bethany campus on Tuesday, January 25th at 6:30 pm. See ad on page 17.
