Ferno Aviation’s popular 28A series Aero Stretcher breaks new ground. Taking advan- tage of an already proven lightweight & strong patient transport surface, Ferno Avia- tion’s design team addressed the lack of stretcher interoperability between aircraft and ground vehicles, something that has been an industry issue and plaguing medics for decades. By making a handful of modifica- tions to strategic areas of the 28-A1, they succeeded in finding a solution. The new (5) piece 28-A1 Ground Compatibility Kit (GCK) allows the stretcher to be removed from air-
frames and secured into ground ambulances without having to transfer the patient from one stretcher to another. The kit can be retro fitted to current 28-A1’s or can be added as an option on new 28-A1 orders. The 28-A1 GCK is compatible with both Ferno 175 and Stryker equivalent cot fastener systems, commonly found in most EMS vehicles. Con- tact Ferno Aviation for more details.
