Medic-CE goes beyond being an online portal for obtaining CE hours by offering free features for educators and training officers. The Educator Feature enables instructors to create online exams, course evaluations, and course completion certificates. This essen- tially eliminates the paperwork involved with teaching CE courses or documenting proto- col proficiency. The Training Coordinator Fea- ture provides a one-page view of department personnel’s license expiration dates and to- tal number of CE hours earned toward recer-
tification. Additionally, training coordinators have one-click access to personnel tran- scripts, which enables viewing of course names, dates completed, and grades, as well as printing of course completion certificates. Medic-CE recently released a free web- based training record management feature, which is seamlessly integrated with its exist- ing functionality. You can scan and upload CE course completion certificates, as well as enter all relevant course data into an online transcript. Best of all, the data is stored se- curely online and can be viewed at any time on a single screen. Additionally, training co- ordinators can view, edit, and upload these records, enabling them to more effi- ciently keep track of the certification status of all department personnel.
