RescueMedic PCR
RescueMedic PCR is simply the most ad- vanced electronic patient care reporting (EPCR) and EMS information solution ever created. This easy-to-use, intuitive user in- terface allows EMS personnel to easily input patient care documentation electronically in the field and pass it seamlessly – and se- curely - to hospital facilities and other internal business process applications.
To develop a system this advanced, Emergidata, headquartered in Richardson, TX, worked directly with emergency respon- ders to understand their core objectives for using a system that would save time, ensure data integrity and retention, and allow for customer configuration to their specific de- partment needs. Using their input, Emergi- data developed RescueMedic PCR, the most advanced field reporting software available. This highly interactive application addresses the time consuming process of gathering data by field Medics and creates a secure link to a central data repository through 128-
bit SSL encryption.
Operating on a tablet computer with touch-screen technology, RescueMedic allows sensitive in- formation to be easily captured in the field and instantly made available for clinical, operational and business analysis. The unique tabbed browsing and Quick Buttons features provide for single-touch logging of patient interventions resulting in a more accurate, higher-quality patient care report. Typical re- ports can now be completed in as little as five to ten minutes.
RescueMedic PCR can also be easily con- figured and customized to meet specific needs. The RescueMedic Web Configurator module enables system administrators to con- figure their system quickly by moving tabs, adding or deleting input variables, changing field labels and modifying rules for each chief complaint. And all of this can be done with- out expensive custom programming fees. As an added service, EmergiData can pro-
vide customers with a complete EMS Docu- mentation & Reimbursement system. Res- cueMedia PCR can seamlessly pass billing data to Preferred Billing Partners allowing mu- nicipalities to increase their collections and ensure higher revenue margins.
