Eat & Drink

Savor the Space Coast by dining at unique restaurants with mouthwatering cuisines. Running the gamut from chic waterfront restaurants to family-friendly eateries to island-style tiki bars, hundreds of dining establishments sprinkled throughout the area ensure you won’t go hungry.

If your mood calls for fresh seafood –

especially shrimp -- be sure to stop by Dixie Crossroads, a Space Coast landmark that serves up seasonal favorites in a casual atmosphere. If you’re particularly hungry, Dixie Crossroads offers “all you can eat” menu items including fresh fish, rock shrimp, snow crab and more. Delish! Cruisers need not cross a body of water to delight their palettes. The Cove, Port Canaveral’s waterfront recreation area, is home to casual waterfront restaurants, such as Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar and Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill, which allow diners to take in the sights of cruise ships entering and leaving the Port. If you’re in need of nourishment after a day at the beach, check out some of the Space Coast’s flip-flop-friendly joints, such as Coconuts on the Beach, located in Cocoa Beach, which can be described as part restaurant, part beach party, part live- entertainment venue – all adding up to an enjoyable, delectable and stress-free spot. As you make your way down to the

southern end of the Space Coast, be sure to try Yellow Dog Café, a fine-dining restaurant situated on the Indian River in Malabar that offers entrees ranging from roasted duckling, to hand-cut filet mignon, to potato crusted salmon. And downtown districts, such as downtown Melbourne, Cocoa Village and downtown Titusville -- lined with upscale restaurants, bistros, cafes and sports bars — also are popular dining destinations. Whatever your taste buds desire, chances are there’s a local restaurant to satisfy your craving.
