Visitors will have loads of fun as they experience the newest “hands-on” discovery area, Adventure Zone, located inside the Dinosaur Store. The new facility is within walking distance from the beach. Dig and uncover fossil skeletons, play basketball and snowboard. You can also pan for minerals at the sluice, and experience science-based interactive exhibits. The wild, Nile raft ride will thrill even the most daring guests without ever getting wet. The Adventure Zone also boasts the only live alligators in beautiful Cocoa Beach. An Egyptian- themed dig site is available for private bookings. An admission charge does apply to the Adventure Zone. The Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures is under construction on the second floor of the new facility. It is expected to open in Spring 2011.

The Space Coast IcePlex, home of the International Champion Theatre on Ice Junior Team, offers the perfect cool place for year-round fun. With afternoon and weekend public sessions, group and private skating lessons for both figure skating and hockey, the Olympic-sized indoor rink provides a unique recreational opportunity. Saturday evening teen skates with DJ Dave has become a Space Coast tradition. In addition to the ice surface, the IcePlex features a snack bar, party rooms available for private rentals, a full service fitness center and a Pro Shop.
Kayaking Trips
Paddle around the local waterways and enjoy up-close encounters with a variety of wildlife including pelican, osprey, eagle, roseate spoonbill and reddish egret. A trained guide can navigate you through pristine areas. Guests may also encounter manatee, dolphin, sea turtles, horseshoe crabs and more depending on the tours.
