Once again Solihull Moors will be running the successful Player Sponsorship. Each player, and member of the backroom staff, is available for sponsorship at the price of £50 each. As you can see, some members have already been snapped up, but there are still plenty of players left. SOLIHULL MOORS SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION NEWS


Thanks for this opportunity to promote the Supporters Association in the programme via our very own page. Hopefully we will be able to keep you even more up to date with the happenings at the club and especially ideas and events from the S.M.S.A.


Statto kicked us off in that respect in the Blyth programme and gave a very good insight into the work of the Association and listed some of the contributions we have made to supporting the club .Over the next few weeks I will endeavour to enlarge on those events and talk more in detail about future ones.

The next big one is the Firework Night, to be held on the actual night of Friday 5th November. This involves an enormous amount of work and will be a joint SMSA / Club event. We want this to be bigger and better than the last one, so I will be appealing for volunteers over the next couple of weeks to make sure it is a ‘roaring’ success ( like it eh.. Fireworks….roaring )


Despite a disappointing result on Tuesday at Stafford, it did provide a good back cloth for a photo shoot when the mem- bers of the SMSA were able to officially hand over to Club Chairman, Nigel Collins, a cheque for £400 .largely as a result of the profits from the recent Race Night. Again, we are looking for new members. Application forms are available in the Club Shop and from any SMSA Commit- tee Member. Membership is priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions, and benefits included discounted travel with the official Solihull Moors Travel. If anyone has any suggestions on any functions that they would like to see run at the club, please speak to any of the Committee Members mentioned above and we will see what we can do.
