Lawyer returns to area in Woodfin
By Matt Tate Following a two-year sabbati-
cal which he used to garner some much-needed family time, attorney Tomas Roberts has re-opened an office in the area. He has relocated to the Reynolds
Village development in Woodfin after 15 years of running an office in Asheville. A former resident of Mars Hill
and Weaverville, Roberts said the northern portion of the county was a good fit for him and he feels privi- leged to serve in the community. As an attorney, he specializes in
estate planning, employment and insurance claims as well as business planning and other areas of law. “I’m a generalist in that I wel-
come the opportunity to talk to people about their circumstances and help them find a lawyer who might be a good fit,” he said. Roberts, 56, said people should
not be intimidated to talk to law- yers whether there is a pressing need for legal advice or not.
Thomas Roberts has education from Duke, Vanderbilt and Tulane. “People get the best value and
results from lawyers if they talk with them when things are going smoothly rather that waiting until
integrity value results
things are breaking down,” he said. For more information, go to
