Class Act


Players tryout Class Act Players was founded


to offer troupe members a seri- ous theatre experience. It is an elite group of young actors who are dedicated to their craft. To become a member of this group of dedicated actors, come to open auditions from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturday (May 22) at the Mars Hill Baptist Church. Auditions are open to children ages 12 through 18. Class Act Players perform a


variety of materials exploring theatre in all of its diversity, performing classics like Shake- speare, as well as modern pro- ductions. CAP performs at a va- riety of community events that contribute to the cultural envi- ronment of Madison County and the surrounding areas.

Judges for senior projects Judges are still needed for senior project evaluations at North Bun-


combe High School from 6 pm to 8 pm on May 27. An orientation from 5:45 pm to 6 pm will review a rubric system judges will fill out for the five-to-six projects they evaluate.
