Moore, age 62 of 29 Indian Lane passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at his home in Weaverville. Mr. Moore was born June 6,
1947, to the late George Winston Moore and Annie Rector Moore of Weaverville. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Charles Robert Rector, George Richard Moore and Tommy Dale Moore. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Revco Scientific for a number of years. Roger is survived by his wife
of 42 years, Sandra Whitt Moore; daughters, Tiffany Mundy and husband Troy of Fletcher and Stephanie Howell and husband Jeff of Weaverville; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Ross and Steven; sisters, Marshia Karpusiewicz and husband Steve of Hendersonville and Addalee Odum of Asheville and brother, Roy G. yer, 84, of Weaverville, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Keever Solace Center. She was a native of North Carolina born in Madison County to the late Nancy E. Presnell Bailey and the late Willis Furman Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband Morris in 2006, two sis- ters and five brothers. Mattie was a Sunday school
teacher for most of her adult life. She was a member of Middle Fork, Grassy Branch and Edge- wood Baptist churches. She was a great musician and gospel sing- er. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing and gardening. She was an extraordinary loving mother and friend. Survivors include her daugh-

‘Evening of Music’ rescheduled “An Evening of Music” benefit concert for the North
Buncombe Music Scholarship has been rescheduled to begin at 7 pm on April 9 at First Baptist Church Weav- erville. Pastor Jim McCoy, the Rev.
