niors Shane Shields. Shields was recently the recipient of a scholarship from the Asheville Civitan Club. Each of the seven students awarded a scholarship were recognized for their good citizenship and academic achievement. Chair Keith Tomson hosted the event. Asheville Civi- tan has been awarding scholarships since 1927.
