Benefit concert Local gospel groups Standing Still and Season Sounds will perform a
benefit concert for the American Cancer Society beginning at 6 pm on Saturday (July 31) at Maranatha Baptist Church in Weaverville.
Fundraiser for
cirrhosis sufferer Fundraisers for Floyd Young will
be held Friday (July 30) through Sunday (Aug. 1) and again Aug. 6-8 at the Weaverville Market in Weav- erville. Doctors have diagnosed Young with cirrhosis and he is await- ing a live transplant. Te market is located on Monticello Road.
