not always be something he bar- gained for, but Dan’s interest and pleasure for innkeeping reverber- ates throughout the entire South Main Street home. “We get the most interesting


people here. It’s a great way for me to hear all the great stories again,” he said. “When we started up we just thought that whatever comes will come, and we’ve dealt with it that way. We just don’t want to ever short-change guests who are here seeking something. As long as I’m in this, I’m go- ing to give it everything I’ve got. I don’t ever want to do it being burnt out on it.”
