Kids Summer Camp at Yoga Ananda Y

oga Ananda will be offering a Summer Yoga Camp July 12-16 from 9:30-noon each day. The cost is $120 and includes materials. The camp is for grades K .
Yoga Summer Camp has a unique approach to integrative learning using yoga
as a pathway to reading, storytelling, music, creative arts, science, and earthcare, blending seamlessly with yoga poses to strengthen the body & mind. The curricu- lum provides children with an exciting new way to explore and appreciate their body’s creative potential. Children learn invaluable skills that set the groundwork for meeting challenges and growing flexible and strong physically, mentally and emotionally, cultivating self-esteem for a lifetime of successful achievement. Dur- ing this week of yoga fun not only will kids stretch their bodies and open their hearts they will be activating their right brain with daily creative art projects. Gluten-free pizza and toppings are the first offerings from a gluten-free menu under development that includes gluten-free salad dressings, beers, and even cocktails. The Gluten-free dough was developed exclusively for Mellow Mushroom by Still Riding Pizza with bean, rice and tapioca flour, starch, yeast and egg. Restau- rants have all been receiving training on handling procedures to prevent cross- contamination for several months.
