Sarah-Maeve Hersh-Boyle came to ride with my dad in 2005 and we clicked from the first day we met. I went on the summer trip to Europe with Sarah Gavigan and Sarah-Maeve that year, I met Nancy Hersh and Joe Boyle at indoors that year and had so much fun with them" "I always thought that if I turned professional that I would want to do it far away from where my father has his business only to make it different for myself. I love the Hersh-Boyles, and Edgewood, and believe I can help their business grow as I build


my own. I can't imagine a better sit- uation to start in. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what coast I live on." "I have a great relationship with


both of my parents," she quietly says. "They have always supported me in everything that I have done. When I was younger school always came first and I think that is what helped me keep a level head on my shoul- ders. I know I will carry that same commitment to the kids I teach, I want to be part of how they turn out as adults." She also loves all animals and has

bit different, she is not just another horse trainer. She is sensitive, ratio- nal, intuitive, witty, insightful and just plain down to earth. Coupled with a determined commitment, she is an asset to the industry and will certainly be a wonderful addition to the west coast.
