UNDERGROUND ARTWEDNESDAYS
Richard Rosen, along with over twenty
artists' studios and galleries that comprise the North Naples Arts Alliance, have creatively established an art extravaganza that takes place on the first Wednesday of every month from 6-9pm, also known as "Underground ArtWednesday". The event takes place north of Pine Ridge Rd and west of Airport Rd, and is an opportunity for the public to mingle with local artists, view their studios, and see exhibitions. The 'North Naples Arts Alliance’, also
founded by Richard Rosen and his fellow artists, is an alliance representing numerous artists' studios and galleries located in the Pine Ridge - Shirley Street Industrial area. VODA GRAND OPENING
The grand opening week of SWFL's newest upscale lounge, the
highly anticipated VODA, was covered by Pulse Magazine and celebrated on Friday, April 9th. Located at 26821 South Bay Drive, Unit 115 in the Promenade Plaza, this perfect location brings the party crowds of Naples and Fort Myers together! The Pulse team arrived to a VIP table alongside the dance floor with full bottle service. Guests poured into the second story lounge from the golden doors of the elevator. The club was full of energy and beautiful people ready to meet, mingle and dance the night away. What was really impressive about the decor was the lighting -
colors danced across oversize bubble lights that covered every inch of the ceiling and pulsed in sync with the beat. Pulse had to get the facts behind this visual magic and discovered B&C Entertainment Technologies, a full-service production company based in Fort Myers. Established in 1999, B&C specializes in sound and light for the local entertainment and hospitality industries. Their clients range from clubs and restaurants to live bands and DJs. Each visually stimulating display is custom designed and utilizes the latest technology including hi-res LED pixel displays, LED stage and dance floor lighting, high-powered laser shows, cryogenic atmosphere effects, architectural lighting and web-streaming background music. B&C has provided production for venues ranging from intimate dance clubs to elaborate outdoor events. Accented by these special effects, DJ York played familiar dance
hits that got the crowd on their feet and dancers moving on the podiums. The attractive staff was very accommodating and profession- al with glamorous cocktail waitresses in purple mini dresses anticipating every need before guests even had to ask. SUMMER JAZZ ON THE GULF NAPLES BEACH HOTEL
A SWFL tradition continues! The Naples
Beach Hotel & Golf Club will again host its popular "Summer Jazz on the Gulf" concert series. This will mark the 25th consecutive year of the free concert series, which combines the smooth sounds of jazz with orgeous views of the Gulf, exquisite sunsets, refreshing breezes, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere. The impressive, nine-piece group, "Blue Dice", will kick-off the concert series on Saturday, June 26th, from 7-10pm at the Sunset Beach Bar. Parking is avail- able just north of the hotel at Lowdermilk Park, and is free for those with a Naples beach sticker. There will also be a free trol- ley service running to and from the resort. Guests may bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating, however, coolers are not permitted. Also check out the Sunday Night Pool
