TheMay/June "Annual Swimsuit Edition" is always a fun issue to work
on, and this year was no exception! Froma glamorous photo shoot at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point to an edgier futuristic shoot at AutoQuest Exotic Cars in FortMyers... there is no shortage of creativity on these pages! In addition to showcasing beautifulmodels in this year's sizzling swimwear fashions, another goal wasmore serious. Youmight wonder what bathing suits have to do with environmental conservation, but there is a clear connection. Without SWFL's beautiful beaches, where would you wear your hot
new bikini or board shorts? The pool perhaps, but everyone knows that's not the same. Earth Day on April 22nd is an annual reminder to strive for more eco-conscious living - important not just for one day, but for every day of the year. Ensuring environmental sustainability is imperative in all regions, but especially for those of us living here amongst Florida's fragile ecosystems. We all need to recommit ourselves tomaking realistic adjust- ments in our everyday lives to ensure that future generations have such beautiful locations to wear their fashionable swimsuits! Just a little effort can go a long way. It's going to be a steamy summer, but we're committed to keeping
