Angelstone Farms Announces Jumping Competition May 8 and 9

Rockwood, Ontario – Angelstone Farms of Rockwood, ON, will host a two-day jumping competition on Satur- day and Sunday, May 8 and 9, 2010.

Based on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Angelstone Farms has expanded its format to offer a two-day competition on May 8 and 9. The purpose of the competition, held at the newly developed Angelstone Farms facility, is to provide an affordable way for riders to develop horses, including young prospects, at a very low cost.

“Over the past few years, a major concern that has been raised is the cost of developing young horses,” said 2008 Canadian Show Jumping Champion Keean White of Angelstone Farms. “In an effort to be part of the solution, we have developed this idea in the hopes that it will grow into something we can all benefit from in the future. Based on the success of our first ini- tiative in 2009 and the positive response we received, we have expanded on the idea for 2010.”

At Angelstone Farms, horses and riders will warm-up on grass while the show ring,
