Western Festival Comes To Paris, Ontario

The Paris Agricultural Society is bringing Canada Day Celebrations back to Paris in a BIG way. Canada Day will never be the same!

The Brant County Western Festi- val is Ontario’s Stampede happening June 30th through July 4th at The Paris Fairgrounds in beautiful, picturesque, Paris Ontario. It will be five days of celebrating this great land and the cow- boy culture that helped build it. This is much, much more than a Rodeo. An event for all ages with so much to see, do and experience, whether it’s learning from Canada’s “Million Dollar Cowboy” and World Champion Barrel Racer - Troy Crum- rine at one of his on-site clinics, to watching North America’s best barrel racers compete, to exploring the deals at one of the areas largest trade Shows, to enjoying CCMA Award Winner Jamie Warren live in concert, to enjoy- ing Cowboy Breakfasts and BBQ steak dinners or, of course experiencing World Championship Rodeo with cow- boys from around the world competing for the chance to ride in Oklahoma

City at the World Rodeo Finals. Orga- nizers say the “that without a doubt, The Brant County Western Festival will be Ontario’s Stampede and the ‘Greatest Cowboy Event Under The Open Sky’”.

The world class competitors, per- formers and exhibitors assembled for this five day festival are the best in the business, promising a celebration like no other. Event Manager, Ted Wright of the Paris Agricultural Society says it best, “The organizers pulling this all together are the best in their field and the competitors that will be competing in the various classes from bull riders to bare broncs, from ropers to racers just don’t get any better. Quite simply, this is a premier event the likes of which Ontario has never seen.” Proudly produced by The Paris Agricultural Society, ‘Brant County’s Foremost Year Round Event Facility’ in association with Joe Scully Pro Rodeo MC, Raw Hide Rodeo & Make A Child Smile Foundation, this all ages event is designed to bring people together to feel, taste, touch and expe-

rience the Western Way of Life while celebrating our great nation’s birthday. In addition to providing great entertainment, delicious foods and wonderful opportunities to stop & shop, this event is about giving back and reconnecting to what is important – our community. The Brant County Western Festival organizers have announced that this event will be working with Mystique Marketing to ensure a very sizeable donation to Help A Child Smile is made to this very worthwhile cause and celebrated orga- nization.

The Brant County Western Festi- val, ‘Ontario’s Stampede, Celebrating Canada, ‘Western Style’’ all takes place June 30th to July 4th in Paris, Ontario.

System Tack & Equipment is Open for Business

System Tack & Equipment is now open for business and if you think the name sounds famil- iar, you’re right. It’s a new division of the suc- cessful System Fencing, Stalls and Equipment that has been servicing the horse industry for over 23 years from its Rockwood, Ontario home. After their 4500 square foot showroom in their new location had been set up to display their lines of fencing, stalls, and other equine barn and farm equipment, Dwayne Job, President of Sys- tem Fencing Limited, saw an opportunity to pro- vide even more complete service to their cus- tomers. “We want to be a one-stop shop for everything you need equine,” said Job. “If you wheel it, shovel it, wear it, or use it in any other way in your stable, we’ll have it. If not, we’ll get it for you.”

It’s the partnership of equine products that makes a visit to System Tack just a little different than other tack stores: it’s like going through your barn with a shopping list in your hand, start- ing with the barn itself - the stalls, the doors, the floors - and finishing up your trip with all the supplies you would need to run your stable every day.

The System Tack product lines include everything from horse health supplies, deworm- ers and herbal supplements to English and West- ern boots and clothing. “We’re offering every- day, functional, high quality working lines of equipment and supplies,” says Job, “the kind of gear you’d use everyday in your stable.” Open up the stall door in the demo barn and you’ll find everything you need for your dream

stall, then walk across the interlocking rubber- matted floor to a stall full of Big D blankets and fly sheets for your horse. Another barn aisleway is carpeted so you can try on your new Ariat boots in comfort. Go through the steel frame dutch doors, past the ring conditioner and fencing display, right into the riding equipment where there are Circle Y Western saddles or the Santa Cruz English line, bridles, International helmets, Professional Choice saddle pads and Pink Equine bridles and accessories, clippers, SSG gloves, Sil- verline halters, Pure Form and Select Supplement and many other familiar brands of everyday equipment.

Unlike other retail stores, System Tack has the room to display a good selection of larger items as well, such as tack trunks, mounting

blocks and feed pail racks, in addition to the established line of fencing supplies.

The Grand Opening for System Tack & Equipment will be May 7 & 8, 2010 featuring 20 to 50% discount off selected products and will be held in conjunction with the exciting return of product demo days. Suppliers will be on hand for demo’s, advice and product knowledge. BBQ will be on so come out for the day and enjoy our new store and food.

System Tack is located in the System Fenc- ing, Stalls & Equipment warehouse and show- room, at the corner of the 5th line Nassagaweya and Highway 7 half way between Acton and Rockwood. Call 519-856-9959 or 1-800-461- 3362 for more information or visit www.system- fence.com
