Bituchem has been specified by Oxford County Council to provide a high quality, natural solution for the resurfacing of Queen Street as part of the Transform Oxford programme. The surfacing formed part of the enhancement project and was carried out by Caveney Road Surfacing on behalf of Enterprise and Oxfordshire Highways. Lee Prudden, Operations Manager at Caveney Road Surfacing commented, “Approximately a hundred tonnes of Buff Natratex was laid as part of the refurbishment of this busy City centre shopping area. Natratex was specified as it gave the natural appearance that was best suited to fit in with the architecture of the surrounding buildings.”
JB Antislip Plus® Decking Used on the Arc

John Brash has supplied its JB Antislip Plus decking to help create a new landscaped public space outside of The Arc in Hull. The Arc is an independent organization that promotes and fosters quality in architecture and public space. JB Antislip Plus with two inserts per deckboard was specified to create a slip resistant and safe surface on what will eventually be a public art space adjacent to the main building. Antislip decking was specified as the building is located close to the mouth of the River Humber, which can sweep in wet weather from the North Sea, creating a potentially slippery surface.
