New Sureclad Brochure Now Available from Shackerley
range of Sureclad facade materials with new large format engineered stone and single skin terracotta panels. All panels are prefabricated at Shackerley’s ISO9001 quality certified production facility and installed in conjunction with a Sureclad support system. A patented undercut anchor process is employed to enable the panels to be fixed mechanically (to comply with BS 5385 Part 2) in an invisible, safe and stress free manner.

To prevent the decorative quoins at Woodlands Children’s Home in Huddersfield, owned Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council, from becoming unstable and further separating from the main structure as a result of rotational movement, stainless steel HeliBars, from masonry repair specialist Helifix, were installed. Bonded between every quoin on the front four corners of the two storey property, the concealed HeliBars were bent around the corners and extended 500 mm beyond the end of each quoin to rapidly, reliably and economically secure the structure and stabilise the corners.
