Tech run at NBMS
The North Buncombe Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization is sponsoring the second annual Tech
Run on Saturday (Oct. 24). The event, held at North Buncombe High School, is an opportunity to sup-
port the NBMS PTO and a chance to run on the wooded cross country trail at North Buncombe High
School.
The funds raised at last year’s race went toward the purchase of such items as classroom calculators, audi-
p: 645-6300 torium sound equipment and helping to sponsor school related field trips.

The 5K race begins at 8 am and the 1-mile fun run/walk begins at 8:30 am. Registration cost is $20 for
adults, $10 for children and $50 for the entire family. Race day registration will be available, with the adult
fee being $25 and the student fee $15.
