Blackpool Coastal Housing
(BCH) is upgrading flats in
Blackpool and Bispham up to
Decent Homes Standard using
the Electric Heating
Company’s (EHC) innovative
heating products. Much of the
housing stock has previously
been heated by storage heaters
but BCH wanted systems which
required less maintenance and
provided heat when residents
needed it. As a solution to this

Solar Combination Unit

restrictions or on brownfield
sites. It can provide enough

Energy Saving Hot Water Products from EHC
The Electric Heating Company
(EHC) has launched a new
generation of electric water
heaters which deliver instant hot
water and impressive energy
savings. There are five heaters
in the range. Each heater
switches on automatically when
the tap is turned on so hot water
is provided straight away.
Because energy is only
consumed while the water is
running there are no losses from
heat storage. And because
each product is smaller than
traditional hot water units, they
