Animal Communication is in! These days, it seems like everywhere you look you’re reading
about, hearing about, or bumping into animal communicators. Animal Planet even has a
TV show featuring the pet psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick.

Have you ever wondered why animal communication is so popular?

• In October of 2007, the United States Humane Society put together statistics that re-
vealed that in the United States of America, there are 90 million people who own cats and
74.8 million people who own dogs. In the present environment, pets occupy a very promi-
nent place in the family, or are even the central focus of attention in a single household. As
more and more people are bringing pets into their homes and family dynamics, it only
seems natural that we would want to strengthen our relationship with our pet companions,
bringing them into the family structure.

• We want to make our animals happy. Coming from a place of love, people want to give
their pet companions the best life that they can in physical, mental, and emotional
ways. This means special diets, organic food, health care, health insurance, and specialty
items. When I travel, my dogs either come with me or I arrange for their vet tech to come
and stay with them, saving them (and myself!) from the stress of leaving them in an unfa-
miliar area with new and unfamiliar people.

• We are learning that animals can and do connect with us on a more intuitive level.
When working with and training an animal, projecting an image of the desired result to the
animal can speak more to them than numerous physical repetitions. In animal communi-
cation, a picture is worth a thousand words.

As children, many of us had this kind of natural connection with animals. Now that we are
in adulthood, we are remembering and re-connecting with the natural intuitive abilities that
we possessed when we were children. Since these talents have been lying dormant for so
many years, we are looking for those who can affirm our intuitive abilities and teach us
more about them. Thanks to technology, obtaining information on and about animal com-
munication is only a click away. As we see more and more people involved in this field, we
can seek them out for guidance and inspiration.
