e took the top award with Ch Buzzards Maximus Red, otherwise known as
Hank, owned by Liz Tackett of Tioga, TX. With family and friends watching,
thetensionkeptbuildingasjudgeWalterSommerfeltsortedthroughmorethan
eightyentriespresentedtohimfortheconclusionoftheconformationclasses,the
BestofBreedcompetition. HankandColstonmadeeachcut,ultimatelyadvancing
intotheringforthefinals. Colstonmayhavebeennervous,butitnevershowed
ashekeptHankstackedandreadywheneverthejudgelookedhisway. Thispair
wasontheirtoes,andeveryoneelsewasontheedgeoftheirseats.

Colston has been showing dogs since he turned 7 years old and has already
be fourteen years old,
garnered many prestigious awards with the dogs bred by his family under the
nameofBuzzardACDs,startedbyhisgrandfather,JimBuzzard. Colstontraveled

record was held by a seventeen year old handler and Colston was working hard
tobestthatrecord.
InBelton,TX,onOctober14,2009,ColstonCouchrealizedhisgoalbywinning
BISS at the ACDCA National Specialty, defeating almost 200 dogs in competition!
He beat the previous record by three years and made history.
Colstonhasprovedhecanrunwiththebigdogsandtakeitall.
Weareallsoproudofthehardworkanddedicationhehas
putintohisdogsandshowing. Hedoesallofthetraining
onthedogsheshowsandwhenheenterstheshowring,
