Djembe tuning using the traditional
‘Mali weave’.
Keeping your Djembe in top condition is easy. Simply play often,
the oil from your hands wil protect the drum skin. Use hats and

carry cases if you have to store or transport your djembe.
For tuning your djembe try the traditional ‘Mali weave’ to add
tension to the ropes. Try this if you want to raise the tone
further or if the drum loses tension.
