A formal statement from Teuco
said:”Following the recent liquidation of
Spaform UK Ltd., as of immediate effect
Teuco UK Ltd will assume direct
responsibility for the marketing and
promotion of the Spaform brand, including
all related customer service, technical and
after-sales support requirements.“
Spaform was founded in 1983 but
became part of a new structure when it
became part of Teuco Guzzini an
established worldwide retail network
distributing their upmarket bathroom
products, such as showers, saunas and spas.
The move to establish Teuco UK is being
seen by dealers as a positive and
encouraging move.
One dealer told us; ”The spas are very
popular and we have kept enough stock to
maintain the interest levels. The full
support systems have been there so we
hope what is happening now will secure a
firmer longer term foundation for the
products.”
Established in 1912, Teuco Guzzini is a
family-owned group with 1,800 employees
with a turnover of over €350m and is run
by the several members of the fifth
generation of the Guzzini family.
The company has had the biggest UK
dealer network with over 50 authorised
retail outlets and over 100 distributors
throughout Europe.
