2009 Founders’ Gala
The premier ninth annual Founders' Gala, presented by Monteith Construction, continued the tradition as one of
Wilmington's best black tie events. The Gala was held on January 24th at the Coastline Convention Center. For the past nine
years, the NHRMC Foundation has hosted this prestigious affair to secure support for the Medical Center's programs and
services.
This year's Founders' Gala was a night to remember as the Coastline Convention Center was transformed into a true
winter wonderland replete with icicles, twinkling white lights and snow-capped decorations.
More than $55,000 was raised to benefit the Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital and the Emergency
Department to allow for a designated pediatric area to help reduce anxiety and fear for our youngest patients.
