Lessons Learned
Additional training and resources will develop with this implementation over time. Integration of the
iPod technology into the music curriculum will require each teacher to customize his or her experience. Delv-
ing into the creation of podcasts and live recording through the iPod will require further exploration.
Conclusion
iPods and the MP3 technology could never replace live performance, nor are CDs expected to do such.
However, providing easy access to necessary materials in a “pressed for time” classroom can only enhance
the current classroom setting. Providing cost efficient solutions to an everyday problem allows educators to
do what they do best: Teach.
