During the day the children will take part in:  The Voyage - telling the incredible tale of the journey of the First Fleet Portsmouth, England to Sydney Cove.

from

 Lags, Lambs & Larrikins - continuing the story from the first tentative settlements through to and including the Goldrush era.

 The Colonial Bush Dance - giving a vivid insight

into the music, instruments and dances of colonial times.

The show uses songs, dances, games,

children’s costume changes and audience participation throughout the show.

So that the children can get the full benefit of this show it is encouraged that everyone attend. To make it even more fun,

the

children may come dressed representing someone who lived at that time.

The children have been busy decorating their trays in class ready to take home at the beginning of Term 3.

Money raised from the Pedlars’ Parade will be used to purchase resources for K-2 classes, or to supplement excursion expenses.

The tray does not have to have a theme – you can put in fresh eggs, or bake your favourite cake, or perhaps you could grab some vegies from your garden. There is no limit to what you put into your tray – as long as it is new and unused.
