Dertour has added six new destinations to its range of city breaks. The specialist tour operator has introduced packages for Geneva, Zurich, Basel, Bern, Prague and Budapest. Prices start from £269 per person for two nights in Munich in a three-star hotel.

Grand UK holidays is to start city tours to Verona, Germany and Edinburgh. The packages include a five-day trip to see Verdi opera Aidain Verona, from £459 per person for half- board accommodation and flights. Prices for the eight-day coach tour of Germany’s “Imperial Cities & Colditz” start from £619, and “Edinburgh Tattoo by Air” is available from £449 including flights.

Superbreak offers free nights on some city breaks to Paris, Munich and Bruges. Banyan Tree has opened its first hotel in Korea – the Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul (below). It has 32 rooms and suites plus a members’ club with 16 rooms and suites, spa and indoor pool. The “Festa” venue features an outdoor pool that will be turned into an ice rink in winter.

Paris now has its own Six Senses Spa. Six Senses rue de Castaglione is over two floors, with six cocoon-shaped treatment rooms and a “vertical garden” in reception. The spa offers Six Senses’ signature range of treatments, plus products by VOYA and Aromatherapy Associates, and a special “Paris roof tops honey facial” using honey sourced from local roof-top hives.

The Radisson Royal Hotel opened his month, and is the sixth hotel in Russia for Radisson Blu. The hotel was formerly the renowned Hotel Ukraina and sits on a bend in the Moskva River in the heart of the city. All 506 rooms and 36 serviced apartments have been overhauled. Radisson Blu Hotel, Milan is also to open this month with 250 rooms and suites and a health club with gym and indoor pool.
